About
Birdieoso Strategies was founded by Michelle Martinez, a San Antonio native and seasoned communications professional. Grounded in storytelling, strategy, and service, our team specializes in public relations, community engagement, and strategic communications.
With more than 20 years of experience in leading communications strategy and projects the team's work spans across the government, nonprofit, and private sectors, with clients including People en Español, SA Digital Connects, ShiftSmart, the American Horticultural Society, the City of San Antonio, TxDOT, the San Antonio Book Festival, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
A proud San Antonio native, Michelle serves on the Executive Committee of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board, and on the boards of the Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas and the Greater San Antonio American Red Cross. She is a 2025 Director of the Texas Lyceum and a recipient of the San Antonio Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award. Michelle is also a proud graduate of Leadership San Antonio (Class 37), the Alex Briseño Leadership Development Program, and the inaugural class of the Latina Leadership Institute Program.
